Summer School on Constitutional Crises, Como-Milan (October, 19-25)

The second Advanced Skills course will take place from October 20 to October 23, 2025 in Villa del Grumello, Como and on October 24th in Milan organized by the University of Milano Bicocca. The International Summer School on Constitutional Crises is an advanced academic program designed for senior scholars interested in a critical and comparative exploration of constitutional transformation.
The initiative is organized within the framework of the TNE IMP-ACCTS Project and is funded by the European Union under the National Recovery and Resilience Plan
The School aims to provide a forum for high-level reflection on the causes, manifestations, and implications of constitutional crises across different legal and political systems.
Through lectures, seminars, and structured discussions, participants will engage with distinguished experts to examine how constitutional frameworks adapt—or fail to adapt—to challenges such as democratic backsliding, institutional conflict, and emergency governance.
Emphasizing interdisciplinarity and comparative dialogue, the Summer School fosters scholarly exchange among experienced researchers in constitutional law, interntional law, and related fields.
