Where can I find all the information about the project?

All information regarding the IMP-ACCTS project is available on the official website. Here you can find calls for applications for student, faculty, and staff mobility, download application forms, contact the organizing universities ecc. You can also contact us at imp-accts@unisi.it.

Can students only do mobility at universities with which their home university has a bilateral agreement, or can they also go to all the project partner universities?

According to the internal agreements among the Italian partners, you can send students to ALL the Italian partner universities. The only formal requirement is that students must indicate, as their first choice for mobility, the university with which their home university has a bilateral agreement, as specified in Annex B of the student mobility call. The candidate will then list the other destinations in order of preference.

What are the deadlines for submitting applications for the student mobility program?

Do PhD students coming for internship/research have to stay at the university only during the months specified in Annex A (as semester months)?

They may stay longer, but their entire stay must be governed by the learning agreement and included in the initial application.

Is the internship envisioned only for PhD students? If not, what would be an acceptable activity for an internship for the 1st cycle students?

No, the activities must align with their study plan. For the internship, a prior quadrilateral agreement is essential between the student, the home university, the host university, and the company where the internship will take place. This is similar to the process for Erasmus for Traineeships.

Is the internship/thesis research also required to last a minimum of 2 months?

Yes, all students’ mobility must be at least 2 or more months (this is a specific requirement of Ministerial regulations).

For staff mobility there no application deadlines, given that the commission from Art. 4 of the call will meet on a monthly basis?

Yes, the call is on a rolling basis.

In which languages will the mobility documentation (calls, annexes, etc.) be published?

The mobility documentation (calls, annexes, etc.) will be accessible in English and in the languages of the minority groups represented in the participating countries.

It is the same: the calls are unified for all Italian partners.

The Annex A of the Advanced Skills Call states: "At the end of the course, teaching staff and those participants who asked for a Research grant are required to submit an essay intended for publication as a condition for the payment of the final balance of the mobility grant." Could you please elaborate on what will be required in these reports for them to qualify?

This requirement refers not to a report but to a scientific publication (draft). How does the selection procedure work?

The selection procedure consists of two phases. The first phase is managed by the candidate’s home university, regardless of whether the applicant is a student, professor, or staff member. The home university must select the candidates according to the criteria outlined in the specific calls for proposals. The names of the selected candidates must be sent to the email addresses indicated in the specific calls.

The second phase of the selection will be carried out by a committee composed of the four scientific coordinators from the Italian partner universities involved in the Project (or their delegates) and an administrative staff member who will serve as secretary.
