Contemporary constitutional crises unfold in a context marked by cyber insecurity, digital interference, disinformation, and geopolitical tensions, testing the balance of powers, the protection of fundamental rights, and the legitimacy of public institutions. The digital domain thus emerges not only as a new field of conflict, but also as a constitutional frontier, raising crucial questions concerning sovereignty, accountability, and democratic integrity.

The programme seeks to engage junior scholars in a critical dialogue on the nexus between constitutional crisis and cyber security, integrating perspectives from constitutional law, comparative and international law, political theory, and security studies, with the aim of exploring how to reconcile national security, the rule of law, and democratic integrity in the current global context.
